La Paz.- An infection forced Bolivia's president Evo Morales to stay in the city of La Paz and absent from public events, said Vice President Alvaro Garcia on Tuesday during a ceremony to inaugurate works in indigenous communities.
"Doctors forced him to stay in La Paz yesterday, today he could not travel, is not serious," said Garcia during a speech in the municipality of San Lorenzo, in the department of Pando, broadcast on state television. From Monday, Morales is absent from public events in which usually inaugurates works in different regions of the country and projects for implementation, stated the Bolivian Information Agency. On Monday, Bolivian Vice President, in the place of president, and accompanied by ministers of state, visited in Santa Ana de Moseten native people gathered in the Central Indigenous Peoples of La Paz, where he ratified the government support for social projects and development of the region. |
