The group includes five catchers, 10 infielders, seven outfielders and 17 pitchers who will be training at the Latinoamericano stadium in Havana.

The list of capped players includes most of the members of the squad that recently won the World University Championship in Japan.

Twelve teams are expected to participate in the Puerto Rican tournament split in two preliminary groups.
The top six finishers will qualify for next year's Pan American Games of Guadalajara and the World Baseball Championship.
