 The apicultural activity in the province of Granma closed with more than 200 tons of honey, the best production for the month of November in 15 years.
William Chávez Martínez, official of the Ministry of Agriculture, stated that all the conditions were created concerning the beehives and to face the current honey production. Guisa, Buey Arriba, Bartolomé Masó, Niquero, Campechuela y Río Cauto are the municipalities with best productions in this period. Up to date the province reaches productions associated to bee propolis, queen bees and reforestation with plants that provide nectar. |
