This December 7 was time once again for the invocation and the encounter with Cuban martyrs, in the 13 municipalities of the Cuban province of Granma, in the 20th anniversary of Operación Tributo and the 113th of the death in battle of General Antonio Maceo and his assistant, Captain Panchito Gómez Toro.
Thousands of people in the province marched more than three miles to the Necropolis, where was paid the posthumous homage to the children of this historic land that shed their blood in Cuba and outside. The ceremony was presided by Luis Rafael Virelles Barreda, Central Committee member and First Secretary of the Party in Granma; Jesús Infante López, Chairman of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power, and other leaders.
