HAVANA, Cuba.-The exhibition The Secret of Silence, by young Cuban artist Alberto Sautua, was inaugurated on Monday in Berlin, as part of the project Tu y Yo Art, organized by Cuba's National Fine Arts Council.
The exhibition, composed of 15 pieces, will be opened until August at the EAGL Gallery of the German capital, the Prensa Latina news agency reported. During the inaugural ceremony, Hector Corcho, in charge of cultural affairs at the Cuban embassy to that European nation, explained that this is the second exhibition by a Cuban artist presented at this Gallery, after that of creator Maykel Herrera, entitled Life is Like a Dream, presented in June. Also attending the opening were members of the Berlin-Cuba Friendship Association and of the Association of Cubans Living in Germany (La Estrella de Cuba). |
