HAVANA, Cuba.-The second Cuban Art collective exhibition will be opened to the public of Riedenburg, Germany, throughout July, before traveling to Berlin, the country's capital. Works by fine arts creators Veronica Guerra, Maykel Herrera, Julia Valdes, Juan Arel, Rigoberto Mena and William Hernandez make up this exhibition, the Prensa Latina news agency reported on Wednesday. The source adds that the exhibition was included in the summer cultural activities of the castle of that territory of Bavaria. Herrera, Valdes and Arel are carrying out other activities in Berlin, as part of a tour of Germany, where they also participated in the closing of the Day of Spanish Language, a celebration in which Cuban poet Nancy Morejon took part. Stuttgart, the sixth largest city of that nation, was the venue in May of the premiere of Cuban Art in Europe, an occasion in which Doctor Susanne Eisenmann, mayoress of Culture, Education and Sports, expressed her interest in strengthening bilateral bonds of cultural cooperation. This time, the opening was in charge of Wolfgang Wunderlich, president of the Syrlin Gallery, and Ada Maria de Boer, creator of the project. |
