| Bolivia to Defend Site Nominated World Heritage |

La Paz.- Bolivia will defend at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) the nominee site Tiawanaku for Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Zulma Yugar, Minister of Cultures, informed she will travel on Sunday to Paris to avoid a possible elimination of the Bolivian archaeological site of the world list. She pointed out she will travel to Paris for tracking and informing how that program goes and to know about the restoration projects of the archaeological sites. The functionary intends to pay a courteous visit to that UN organization after naming those ruins World Heritage in the year 2000. UNESCO requested the achievement of a stocktaking of all the projects of that site since 2000 to present and also the verification of the authenticity of the restoration works. |
